You can see it: The CCD-Chip of the EXILIM Card EX-S770 supplies a rich 7.2 million Pixels of full colour brilliance and focus. Such high resolution photos give you the advantage that you can print them out in excellent quality or edit them on the computer. This means that enlargement of details and poster size photos are possible.

Entirely automatic

If you take photos using the multi-focus, the camera measures the distance from the motif with the 9-Point Multi AF-Function at nine different points and sets the right focusing range. In addition, all the measured areas are displayed simultaneously which were the object of the focussing procedure. This means that every picture is extremely crisply focused.

Annoying

You photograph the most beautiful settings and discover later that some pictures are blurred. Anti Shake DSP* prevents just that.

Autofocus light metering supports the autofocus system of your EX-S770 if it is dark.

In fact the EX-S770 has 35 flexible pre-settings for all sorts of situations to ensure that all photos and movies turn out well automatically. With BEST SHOT you can create and save your own settings in a flash too and you can retrieve them at any time.

Nearly all EX-S770 BEST SHOT motif settings are suitable both for taking photos and movies.

Why hide?

BEST SHOT motif settings are extremely practical and therefore can be accessed immediately at the touch of a button. From "Landscape" to "Sunset" your EX-S770 readily adjusts to the most varied demands, regardless of whether you are taking photos or movies.

Everything in view

With this function you get two photos at the same time when you press the shutter release once - one complete image and a selected detail. The divided display not only enables you to view both images, but also the practical illustration makes it easier for you to select the detail of the image you require. The quality of this detail depends on the resolution which was preset.

Rapid interplay

Simply press the DATA button and you can move seamlessly from the photo or movie view to your saved data and vice versa.

Problem detected

With flash shots the background often remains dark. The subject is only slightly lit. The solution: Flash Assist. With this function the subject can, in many cases, still be corrected automatically.

If your record your films with your EX-S770, they will be saved in a high resolution and with sound. Thanks to MPEG-4, this quality fits onto a tiny memory card to give you never-ending hours of filming fun. All films can be recorded with 30 pictures per second in screen or Wide Screen format 16:9.

If you keep the shutter release pressed, the EX-S770 takes a photo every second*. If you use a lower level of resolution, it is even possible to take 3 pictures in 1.1 seconds. In this case the number of photos is only limited by the size of your memory card.

Many of the EXILIM EX-S770 functions are all but self-explanatory. The help function icon stands for small, helpful flashes on the camera screen that tell you about the setting you have currently selected.

Your EX-S770 is a real one hand camera. You control menus and movie shots with your thumb and the shutter release and the autofocus with your index finger.

It's your choice

The EX-S770 can choose between SD/SDHC and MMC memory cards for storing your photos and films. You can now decide spontaneously and flexibly which of these cards (optional extras) to use.

And this is how it works:
The 7.2 megapixel resolution is the key to an innovative solution. When the digital zoom is activated, images with resolutions from VGA up to a maximum of 5 megapixels can be stored in the central area of the CCD chip and projected by the relevant zoom factor, without any detail being lost. Depending on the resolution you choose, this lets you achieve a zoom factor of between 3.6x and 14.2x, and still keeps you close to the action.

Don't miss a thing

Do you want to take a photo in the dark and are unable to judge the right moment correctly? With the rapid Continuous Shooting, three photos are taken with flash in the space of just one second, ensuring that you no longer miss those wonderful moments.

Turn old into new

If you take a photo of your old album photographs using the Revive Shot Function, yellowed and faded colours are automatically replenished - and the pictures are given a new and long life in digital form.

Miss absolutely nothing

Say good-bye to long drawn-out scenes: in Short Movie mode, you can automatically film for up to 8 seconds as soon as you press the shutter release. When you combine several of these short movies together, you can create an interesting, enjoyable impression of the most beautiful places and events.

Were you too late pressing the shutter release? No problem because you can combine this mode with Past Movie if necessary - and even seconds which you have missed are automatically saved when you start your recording.

If you want, the camera can create a MOTION PRINT for every short movie.

Custom-made

With trimming you can define sections of a photo while they are still in the camera and save them as separate shots. And so, for example, you can just cut a person's face and print it out as a photo - even without a computer.

The EX-S770 has an ultra-bright and wide 7.1 cm (2.8-inch) Wide Screen TFT colour display It features 230,400 pixels and can thus allow a particularly brilliant display of your pictures. With approx. 1100 cd/m²* the display features above-average brightness and this means the user can view every motif very accurately, no matter how bright the sunlight. And to ensure you have the best view whatever the situation, the luminous intensity can be adjusted to suit the light in the area in question.
